The Shilla stay hotel is close to exit No. 1 of Gongdeok station in Seoul. It is therefore extremely well connected to the Arex airport express train, local subway and bus transit. For example, Yeouido with its malls and financial district is less than 10 min away. At the same time within 15 min you can reach Gwanghamum with its palaces and downtown shopping. It's a great option for business travellers and tourists alike. The rooms are well stocked and the bathrooms functional. There is usually a small couch connected to the desk along the window that's comfortable to lounge on. There are plenty restaurants nearby and there's a 24h 7-eleven just outside the back-door of the hotel. The rooms with view to the street are probably the better option since to the back there is a tall office building you'd be looking into. The staff was exceptional with its service and made every special request we had concerning the booking and other things possible. Overall this hotel is a very good choice for visiting Seoul.

Otherwise we wouldn't choose this hotel in advance. The thing is, their manager contacted us and asked our satisfaction of room clearness. We were satisfied about this.
